President Joe Biden recently announced that the federal government will be forgiving up to $20,000 in student loan debt for borrowers who make less than $125,000 a year, and the policy has elicited some strong responses.

On both of those sides of the argument, a number of Christians have leveraged biblical passages and principles to bolster their case for or against student loan debt forgiveness.
