Recently, CNN published the stories of people who grew up in evangelical homes and now report that they have a very specific kind of anxiety that revolves around the theology of the rapture. Many have reported experiencing fear and dread that they must be ready for the rapture at any moment, lest they be forced to endure the Great Tribulation and ultimately be beheaded.
