One of the questions we receive most often is some variation of “How can I know what God’s purpose is for my life?”

Whether you were thinking about your career, how you should serve in ministry, or who you should marry, you have probably asked this question at some point in your life. You may even be in a season where you’re asking it now.

And while it’s an important question for someone who’s seeking to follow and obey Jesus, it can also give you a lot of anxiety! How can you know that this is the path that you’re supposed to be on, and not another path you could have possibly taken?

So in this episode, we discuss what the Bible has to say about your purpose and calling. We also explore some of the theology of Martin Luther, who’s thoughts are helpful to this conversation.

Most of all, we hope this conversation inspires your faith while freeing you from the weight of any unnecessary worry about whether you’re doing the right thing.
