In episode 4 of the podcast, we explore the topics of self-care alongside self-sacrifice, when to walk away from a toxic person, and how to strike a balance between caring for your own soul and tending to the needs of others.

While we are created in the image of God, humanity is inherently finite. We have very real limits. And while we want to tend to every need we see, we have to realize that we aren’t able to be anyone’s Savior. So we need to make sure that we are serving out of the overflow of what we are allowing Jesus to pour into us.

We also need to know when it’s okay to walk a way from a toxic person or a situation that we aren’t going to be able to resolve. It can be tough to know when that time is.

In our discussion, we offer tips for how to care for your body, mind, and soul in such a way that enables you to make the biggest impact possible. We also wrestle with what it looks like to accept your limits, embrace them, and not feel guilty about doing so.
