A recent development in technology has some people on edge, as the field of artificial intelligence continues to advance in its efforts to create ever smarter technology.
ChatGPT, perhaps the most sophisticated chatbot ever created, was launched in Nov. 2022 and was trained on a dataset of an estimated 300 billion words. Users simply type their question or prompt into the dialogue box, and ChatGPT provides a response. Many of them are quite impressive.
So impressive, in fact, that some content creators and marketers are beginning to worry that their jobs are in jeopardy.
Even more fundamentally, as artificial intelligence starts to “feel” more human, many have begun to question what it actually means to be a human created in the image of God.
In this episode, we explore the ways in which artificial intelligence has become a part of our everyday lives, as well as dive into the question of what makes humanity unique in God’s eyes.
